I Hear Them Calling My Name

People fear People are afraid of unsuccessful and negative activities in their environment, death, terrorism, etc, but from multicultural perspective we are all afraid of change. Our people are also afraid of the differences. We are concerned about the differences in religion, skin color, race, sexual orientation. We are afraid of not being in line with our customs and standing out in the world. "I heard they are calling my name: a journey through New South", the problem of change and difference is very common.

When I hear the word "refugee", I hear the student's name everyday. If everything goes wrong you will hear the name of the teacher who helped us in class. The names of the people who bring us to their country are kind and kindly heard. I hear the names of those who ask you not to forget.

My 2 year old daughter is Isabella. When I saw her, when I heard someone calling her name, I thought of only one person, it was my recent grandmother of the same name.
