I Am Tolstoy, But Not A Tolstoyian

Somewhere in the countryside in northern Moscow in 1828, Lech Tolstoy was born in a Russian aristocrat. In this article we discuss Tolstoy and Sartre's views on the meaning of life by comparing Tolstoy 's objectiveism and transcendence with Sartre' s subjectivityism and existentialism. I will summarize later why Sartre's view is more resonant in myself. Tolstoy 's view on the transcendental theory points out that the only way you can live a valuable life is to follow God' s plan. My paper is based on John Kearney, an introduction to philosophy called death. I decided to write "My Confessions" by Leo Tolstoy. Tolstoy reexamined his life, I thought it was pointless and disappointing failure. His story gives us a deeper understanding of his idea, because he begins to change his fundamental development of his idea, behavior and death philosophy forever. Leo Tolstoy starts by talking to us about his insight, talking about the mediocre traveler who overcame the beast. Tourists do not have the option to save lives. If he falls to the bottom of a waterless well, "Dragon of Death" swallows him. If he gets off from a well without water, the beast will break him apart. He grasped firmly the branches of the wild shrub and brought them up in the well, he temporarily protected himself from the "dragon". But then he faces the mouse, one white (representing day) and another black (representing night) licking "the branch of life".
