I discovered my interest in pediatrics over the past two years and I graduated from medical school in 1896. I gained my medical degree in Italy and became the first woman to become a doctor. My first work was a psychiatric clinic at the University of Rome, where I observed childhood development inhibition. (Puckett & Duffy 2004) So I found some interesting things.
