This story has many great literary elements: not only the educational value of understanding the influence of communism and the plight of refugees, but also mystery, danger, adventure, moral theme (justice / human rights problem ), Climax of emotion and trough ... but the most beautiful element for me is the process by which David learns to trust God.

When I first saw this movie, I was touched very much. There are some differences between the two - the role of Jim Kawizel in the movie role is partly done in the book by another unlikely letter. Even in the movie, the identity of the person who helped David escape was revealed to the end, and among the books it was established from the beginning, but that mystery is a man of "why" who helped him. In addition to a relatively small number of story changes from book to movie, this book allows you to make you "in the head of David", and in the movie, you observe the outside of his environment It is a person.

As the head of "inner" David, you can share much of his thoughts and emotions. In the book, the theme of understanding God's character and love for David is very powerful. When David lost his compass he began to desperate and began to notice that he needed "outside" help to point toward God. His knowledge about God is very limited, so this is a fun and beautiful process. What he knew was just the little information Johannes gave him and Johannes was his late friend and mentor to the camp. Johannes once told David that there was a boy named David who once wrote a song about his god. David decided to worship "God" according to the necessity of "green pasture grounds and tranquility of water" and prayed to him through the story ("Green ranch and the god of still water").

He began to connect with God based on certain "legalism" - a little "I will do this for you if you are good for me." Sometimes he needs help of God but he refuses to visit him as he feels he did not 'get' it. There are actually amazing moments - David participates in God to make his own life and is trying to please God. But by the end of the book God's sovereignty showed his grace to David through various situations (and a particularly powerful and symbolic plot to end the story). God loves him. This story also confirms the value of David and the value to God - he (David) deserves a sacrifice

I AM DAVID, adapted from Ann Holm's book, is the story of David who grew up in the Bulgarian labor camp in the 1950s. He did not know about his family why he was there, he just had memories. At the age of 12 he arranged arrangements for himself (for reasons they only appeared at the end of the movie), crossing the border with Greece by themselves and going to the south to Thessaloniki, and boats I go to the boat. Italy, and head north to Denmark. While avoiding trusting someone, when David avoided captivity, met people and began to understand how the world is functioning, David experienced a world never before experienced . More details have been revealed with the progress of the movie, focusing on important events in camps.

At first glance I do not remember who David Balwald is. Even though his name is well known. A quick Google search shows that he is half the fame of David and David's "emerging city". As an outstanding composer, David is the only artist on this videotape I became a friend on Facebook. I have found other welcome surprises. Frank Black's strange "Fu Man Chu" unexpectedly appeared on one side. Then, please look at the power of Pupper Matthew Sweet's "Girlfriend" with a papple jam and a violent woman. Shockingly, Collective Soul's "Smashing Young Man" is an attractive little radio lock. Not so cute, she is not one, two Green Day songs and a revolutionary "creep" of Radiohead?

David and I are very good, surely all right. Well, to speak relatively, I am qualified. I saw David half a year walking around the hole in front of him ... his legs fell down, his balance rose, and he got his nursing partner to prevent it falling I grabbed the arm. He - a very young and badly tortured heart of my heart sympathizes and wrinkles, and makes people awaiting battle awful. David and I are older and I have lost a lot less. After all, he is curved, but I still have the ability to walk. At the usual moment of our actual conversation, I am already awake.
