"I am David" is a 2003 American drama film directed by Paul Figures. It is based on Anne Holm's novel of the same name (originally published in the United States under the name North to Freedom). This film was produced by Walden Media and Lions Gate Entertainment.
Seven years after the end of World War II, a 12-year-old boy named Ben Tiber ran away from the Stalinist labor camp in Bulgaria where he spent his life. He started adventure in Denmark and initially thought that he was fulfilling an important mission, but eventually he knew that "mission" was to reunite with his mother and had various memories. On his journey he faces danger, fear, loneliness, starvation and encounters with all kinds of people.
His friends and leaders, Johannes (Jim Cawisel), of a camp ready to flee have been murdered by security guards. David escapes with the help of a security guard, hands him a compass, moves southwest to Greece, boats to Italy and finally goes north to Denmark, a peaceful and neutral country . The security guard also told him not to trust anyone. Because David was trapped in the camp for a lifetime, in any case kept down his emotions and no one trusted, so I got lost.
During his journey he was abused by some people, but he was treated well by others. Gradually, he learned that some people can trust their emotions, open and experience. Finally, he reunited with his mother in Denmark with the help of a decent man who has learned to trust.

Pakistan Camp This movie is the story of a real boy with a real journey and includes the reality of documentaries; it helps highlight David's fantastic story.
Ten years after my becoming famous, my second movie character appeared. Actor / Temporary Director David Keith - One of my best friends from Knoxville - has produced a horror film called "Curse" starring Claude Akins and John Schneider. David has a ranch / farm in Tellico Plain on the outskirts of Knoxville where the film was filmed. I have another small part.
The first thing I took was 6 weeks shoot at The Last Bullamakanka. The movie itself is a disaster, but its experience is not so. Producer is David Joseph. He used to manage David Bowie and Manfred Mann. DOP was the original Mad Max that was taken by David Eggby before and continued working on Hollywood's big hits later. I was taken to the driver to take me everyday, and that moment was a wonderful experience for me. In Tracy, I played the role of Jade Patterson. This is my first time writing my role. This is special and memorable for me. Emeralds are complex characters. Jade married Belleroz, and she lost interest in her except to earn money for him. Emerald turned to the drugs, and the surface of the world she did not care. Jade fell in love with Daz (Derek Erskine). For Daz, she is a toy for him. Emerald recognizes this, but I love him anyway.
