Hunger: A Constant Struggle

Saturday night is very early. After a challenging day's research and rehearsing of hard dance, my stomach complained. I think that I am starving. However, I quit. I am not hungry. I am hungry and I do not even suggest continuing pain that many people experience everyday. With this awareness, we can see how lucky our Brookfield College community is. Some people want to fly, or want to get material things, but it is my wish to end global hunger. Food is one of five basic necessities of life.

Hunger can be caused by natural disasters, climate change, soaring food prices, or conflict. In 2017, almost all the hunger emergencies that we suffered from conflict, from Democratic Republic of Congo (Democratic Republic of Congo), Syria, Central African Republic, until the flight of the Rohingya escaping from Myanmar.

While traveling all over the world with her horse, Lisa removed her troubles at home. She continued to fight against starvation and tried to conceal it from the people who care about her. But I was forced to go where hunger is part of the pain of my daily life and to face the terrible influence of her amazing force. Lisa can find a way to use this power - and does she have the courage to fight her inner devil?

Hunger is a well-known term and stage experienced by poor families. Every day is a new struggle for life and experience, and food is needed. Hunger for a novel is the driving force of many characters to endure various actions to gain food, from leaving a new land to prostitution. For example, Lukmani's sons Arjun and Tambi decided to go to Ceylon to find a better job than a tannery factory. "They pay high price ... It is a good thing for us to work again, it is not appropriate for men to defile themselves with hunger and laziness" (71). This shows that Arjun and Thambi think that they should not be deprived of all kinds of items and that they should not continue to live hungry without money. I came to decide to travel to Ceylon from the incentive not to experience hunger and laziness.
