Humanity's Heroes: Heroification

Loewen defines heroism as "a process of degradation (like calcification)" people (heroes) (Loewen 11). In the process negative or controversial facts are often overlooked or modified by these heroes. When a person changes or omits facts about personality in history, we leave behind the events and human stories that were invented; in other words, history became myth.

"A real hero is always a wrong hero, he dreams of becoming a sincere coward just like any other person." Umberto Eco explains how the heroization process works . Heroization is a process of deterioration that turns people into heroes. (Page 19) The process of heroism drastically changed the truth of historical figures and changed their perception of people. James W. Loewen knows this and is seeing the impact of heroism on various historical figures. He also knows that historians who left several things did not intentionally do so. Historians believe that as long as they are not lying, it is not a problem if people do not know the whole truth. If there is a missing or missing in history books or encyclopedia it will hide the influence of social origin, beliefs, historical personality.

Indeed, these men and women are real heroes.
