Human Trafficking

The 2000 Trafficking in Victims Protection Act was enacted to prevent trafficking, to protect victims of human trafficking and to prosecute trafficking. Despite its ingenious work, TVPA has no effect in achieving that goal. Since its promulgation, only a few victims have been rescued and the spread of trafficking in the United States has not decreased. In fact, trafficking in Arkansas may be increasing. Hence, the revision of the TVPA allows more people to qualify for social services, but not changing the TVPA will help support organizational crime, AIDS and tuberculosis, and the spread of modern slavery It is an act.

The spread of human trafficking is estimated to be difficult. For example, this makes it difficult to measure phenomena through traditional research. In addition, global estimates of prevalence have important sampling limitations. Not all countries can sample because of resource constraints, security reasons, or large humanitarian emergencies.
