Human’s Attempt to Overrule God: The Debate Over Euthanasia

Whether you have free will decide when life begins. If humans do not have the power to decide the beginning of life, why do people have to impose the right to end their lives? Life is one of the most precious things humans have. Man is the most complicated of all creatures. A lot of time is spent discussing problems of the beginning and the end of life like euthanasia. Euthanasia is defined as "mild and easy to die" in Greek (Keown 10). "Moderate and simple death" indicates that death is due to treatment and medication, not nature.

Euthanasia is still one of the topics that attract many interest groups' attention, and some believe that this is the only humanitarian way to end pain. Christians believe that humans must experience pain because it is part of God's plan. In this discussion, considering the political, religious, legal and personal aspects, we are just trying to justify why all of these people should legalize euthanasia. Health care workers face an ethical dilemma when treating end-stage patients. They were forced to make difficult decisions through moral reasoning to overcome some moral dilemmas related to euthanasia. However, euthanasia is considered to be murderous and moral, and the doctor has a moral obligation to comply with patient decisions. However, the emergence of worldly pluralist societies gives different meanings to the concept of individual autonomy, and the right to self determination is the value that modern society gradually recognizes. To be a positive negative right means "to achieve perfect humanity ideals, as expected by reason." Therefore Western countries tend not to condemn voluntary euthanasia and doctor suicide, and now face conflicting political and social evidence of these practices.
