"A & P" by John Updlikes is a fictitious story that provides insight about certain aspects of human nature. Our story takes place at A & P's grocery store in a small town in Massachusetts. We were fascinated by a 19 - year - old narrator, Sammy. Throughout the story, Updlike rocked the monotonous custom of A & P and created a scene of idealistic view of himself and the social norm.
