How to Teach English in Primary School

In elementary school, students develop many basic reading strategies that rely on them throughout their lifetime. Teachers must make efforts to build a literacy base for students by providing various reading opportunities and guidance on language and sentence creation. By participating in the English course and educating it, the teacher can let her students skillfully read.

I will read the picture book of the initial grade so that the budding reader can extract information from the text and deepen the understanding of the text. In the initial reading development, readers can benefit from the existence of images. By reading a picture while reading, students can guess the meaning of an unknown word. In addition, images make text suitable for young students.

Ask students to read aloud. Students can benefit from practicing verbal reading and listening to other people's participation in verbal reading. When reading out with students aloud, do not use circulation, do not read the responsibility of reading. According to Scholastic's website, this reading is known to be very ineffective. Instead, rotate reading missions at random or select students in an unexpected order.

Study rhyming art through poetry exploration. By presenting attractive poetry, students can enjoy the lyrics of that language. Speak poetry with students and create classroom presentations using poetic choices and tongues

Learn the basics of spelling. Spelling education is very important in primary school. During these growth periods, students learn the basic rules of spelling. Please use students and horizontal spelling lists to provide more difficult words as they move forward

Please check the part of speech. By learning various parts of speech, students can start to understand how sentences are formed. Beginning with a transition from simple recognition to sentence making activities, students can learn not only how to explore parts of speech, but also how words work together to form sentences and paragraphs.

Provide opportunities for creative writing. Students are naturally very creative. This creativity is maximized by engaging students in creative writing activities. Have the students write stories regularly and urge them to hone their writing skills in an imaginative and fun way.

I am teaching at basico escuela (elementary school) from grade 5 to grade 8. I will cooperate with the school's English teacher (Carolina) to help students learn English. Carolina is from southern Chile, in fact it is half of Germans. She was very kind and she gave me great support throughout my school. According to her schedule, we divide the class into two halves and work independently. Here I wrote several articles about my school. I will continue to be famous at school, especially with my children. Many of them are looking forward to my lecture. Not because they like English but in my lesson they are only different (usually fun) experiences. Students are excited about the fact that they are free from attention mode, freedom of movement, lack of notebooks, or attention to performance, and the main activities in the classroom are games.

My class I am teaching English as an independent school at the public school of the largest university town in eastern Romania. My school is a state school, 755 elementary and junior high school students, built in the early 20th century, located in the center of the town. This is a very old but impressive building, with a classroom with a height of 15. Some classrooms have a personal desk and other classrooms have tables for two or three children. Each has a blackboard and a desk for the teacher. Elementary school students are studying in junior high school students in the afternoon, so each classroom is shared by two kinds of children.
