How to Apply

Normally we will register sixth grader high school first grader or ninth grader high school first grader. The application process is carried out in the fall of the year before the student enters Dalton (in other words, the fifth grader of the junior high school or the eighth grader of the enrollment enters the student).

Applications for September 2018 are not accepted. We accept applications from Dalton Junior High School or High School (only for 6th graders and 9th graders) on 4th September 2018.

Dalton is one of many schools in New York that uses a web-based software application called Ravenna to receive applications and manage collections of supplemental forms such as paper, photos, transcripts, teacher recommendations . The first step in the process is to visit www.ravenna-hub.com to create an account. This will be your primary e-mail contact with our school so please make your account with e-mail address you access throughout the semester.
