How the weakness of makind is displayed in "The Crucible".

"The Crucible" is a script based on the trial of Salem Witch of Arthur Miller in 1953, strongly reflects human race defective. Common human defects and weaknesses are usually expressed in literature and real life. Puritanism, adultery, hysteria, fraud all bothered to the Salem city where Puritans had lived. The town practiced no separation between the church and the state. The combination of religion and law allows people to be punished for sin and against the church. Defective humans cause conflict and panic in Salem and the loss of innocent lives and false truth is thought to have brought about tragedy

One of the drawbacks suffering from Salem is hysteria. Hysteria replaced logic and thought that others acted in incredibly silly ways. Hysteria spread throughout the wildfires of Salem. Gossip and conversation may make a wrong perspective in town.

In "crucible", hysteria appears in various forms such as villagers condemned by magic, people who are possessed and thought to be confused. For people like Thomas Putnam, hysteria is very meaningful. Putnam used hysteria of the whole town by retaliation against other villagers. Revenge is another weak point that Salem villagers have shown throughout the game. Planan accused Francis' wife Rebecca of using magic to kill Applet's baby and retaliated against Francis nurse.

With hysteria and revenge, Salem also witnessed adultery; the most prominent thing is the involvement of John Proctor and Abigail Williams. When Abigail was a servant of a trafficker, she fell in love with John. When John's wife Elizabeth Proctor discovered her unmarried problem

Mary Warren, the character of Arthur Miller's The Crucible, shows that a decent man will go wrong with terror and weakness. Mary is weak and scared in this play. When we first met her, she asked Abigail Williams to dance in the woods, so they would not be hanged for magic. After the threat of Abbey, Mary ceased protest. When we saw her next thing she began a long monologue where she sang praise to the courtroom and completely believed in the virtue of the witch trial.
