How Should Zambia Look Like in 2024 from a Tourism and Recreational Perspective

The purpose of this report is to answer important questions "What should Zambia do in 2024 from the perspective of tourism and leisure?" As a policymaker in the Department of Tourism and Arts in Zambia, I will introduce the 10-year vision of Zambia. Tourism policy needs to be improved, vision and explanation are necessary to meet stakeholders. As only the official website and the Zambian government articles are used, all information can be trusted in the report.

In August 2013, Zambia and Zimbabwe will co-host the 20 th UN World Tourism Organization Conference (UNWTO), the world's largest tourism conference. It is estimated that 4,000 participants from 180 member countries will participate. Zambia and Zimbabwe have a long history, a world heritage, the world's largest waterfall Victoria Falls. The United Nations World Tourism Organization Conference will be held at Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe and Livingston Town in Zambia. This is the first African country to host Senegal. However, this is the first time that this conference came to Southern Africa, which is a historic milestone.

Zambian Minister of Tourism and Art Minister Sylvia Masebo announced the latest trend of the United Nations Tourism Association at the recent Africa Tourism Association Forum (ATA). She mentioned that she is satisfied with the preparatory work, especially regarding infrastructure development such as health and water network. He said the Zambian government is preparing for the community so that it can benefit from the United Nations World Tourism Organization. The United Nations World Tourism Organization is a UN agency responsible for promoting access to responsible, sustainable and universal tourism. As a major international organization in tourism, UNWTO uses tourism as the driving force for economic growth, comprehensive development and environmental sustainability.
