The purpose of this study was to examine Julia's children's lives and accomplishments in detail, and to understand how it affected American society from the middle of the 20th century to the latter half. The purpose of this paper is to clarify gender roles and social norms from the middle of the 20th century to the latter half, analyze the performance of children, and relate changes in women's role to the effects of Julia's children. Through the deep lifestyle of Julia Child, she completely changed the social norm of the time. A historical reference to the American society, a novel about Julia's children, an academic journal on the influence of children, and a database on each person to explore the idea and to provide a link between them will be used.
In the late 19th century to the early 1900s American progressive era, women's lives and roles changed dramatically. In the meantime, women began fighting for equality and tried to convince American society that they could provide a lot of things to their country. Although they can not vote at this time, they have succeeded in creating many of the public policies and institutions that we still enjoy today. Women at this time succeeded in voting for educational opportunities and promoting the right to improve it.
