The way to expand is related to the change of urban landscape. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the largest urbanization area in the United States has increased by 14,545 square miles over the past 20 years. This is more than 9 million acres of natural habitat, agricultural land and other rural spaces covered by asphalt, buildings and suburban houses. In efforts to prevent loss of land on farmland, is the land use and consumption decision the main driving force of urban expansion, or is the population increase of the country become the driving force of urban expansion?
The expansion of urban areas throughout the landscape is also defined as city expansion. In order to achieve the expansion of the city, it is necessary to prepare the surrounding area adjacent to the edge of the city. This is usually done by habitat changes, such as deforestation of urban forests surrounded by forests / mangroves and cultivation of land in urban areas of the island. As you can see from the figure above, population growth not only accelerates the speed of human activities but also causes new problems such as urban expansion. All of these problems affect each other and lead to specific environmental problems that will have further impact.
The spread of the city is still increasing in the city of Canada. In Regina, urban expansion is a matter that needs to be tackled among urban planners. Adverse effects of urban expansion include public expenditure, independence, health, the environment, social life, but are not limited to these. The purpose of this paper is to empirically investigate the factors that have been proposed as factors for urban expansion. Salingaros (2006, p. 114) think that many think that "spread exists because it is a product of car activity". Therefore, the focus here is on how car dependence leads to the spread of Canada. Like many other Canadian cities, Regina is a highly automated city. Large communities are the main cause of climate change and air pollution. This is because the transportation of cars is very much and it depends greatly on the energy consumption of fossil fuels, the biggest source of greenhouse gas emissions.
