How has technology changed the way we conduct business?

Companies were at the forefront of technology for many years. Whatever accelerates production, it will attract more business. When computers came out in the 20th century, they promised a new era of information technology. Clearly, the majority of business is currently done via personal computer or communication equipment. Computers provide companies with a way to organize intensive databases, personal schedules, and other basic information in various forms.

As information spreads faster and more reliably, distance barriers disappear and companies recognize how easy it is to outsource their work abroad. Outsourcing refers to employing employees who work outside or outside the company even in the middle of the world. Companies can outsource responsibilities such as computer programming and customer service by telephone. They can even outsource the fast food restaurant service - you will not be surprised if you work with fast food employees in completely different countries. Outsourcing is a controversial practice and we believe that US companies that many people are involved are hurting their employment markets. Another technology that has begun to revolutionize the business is not that new in fact. Wireless IC tag (RFID) technology penetrates business in some way and changes. Companies can track inventory because they can attach a microchip that stores information (such as numbers corresponding to barcodes, as well as the latest history of chip trips) to products.

To enhance security, some companies have started using RFID chip implants. The access control reader detects the signal from the chip and allows the employee to enter the door. But if you want to be a general way, many people will worry about privacy concerns.

My research is about how technologies can change the manner of business. Technology affects almost all aspects of our lives, especially the way companies operate.
