In the field of psychology, there are still many things to learn and I agree with many more things. Do people other than their professionals understand the several different theories we have? Do they recognize that one expert may be quite different from the next expert? Assumptions are very important, but how do we know the correct model of our minds due to exhaustion of data in neuroscience?
Even the word psychologist. Get a page from a head psychiatrist, a psychoanalyst, a counselor or a pop culture - Dr. Dani Santino actually tells us that it is about the 'required roughness' of the US network I will tell you. Dr. Dani is proud of her perception of hypnotherapy - behavioral perspective and specialization, but when she is not awake at a strange time she is shooting a lot of action Freud calls "interpretation" .
Which is it? Are we focusing on our ideas? Are we focusing more on feelings? Has the INCOGNITO eagle interrupted 95% of what we think and thinking is unconscious? What should I do? How does it adapt to many psychologists still to the spirit of the most positive and forward-looking era?
Oh, wait, I did not end. R. Douglas Fields explains in the brain of THE BEAIN why we thought that "junk" or "white matter" in the brain is where all interesting things happen. Together with the emergence of the most noteworthy topics in neuroeconomics, namely cognition, it begins to look as if trying to understand our own revolution.
We know some new things. In the social context, everything seems to be occurring from brain construction to recognition of judgment. We are certainly a social animal of David Brooke. Did you know that even pure 2 + 2 = 4 things use different brain mechanisms depending on your mother tongue?
We also know that emotions can not make decisions. This may not be a fierce feeling, but you need to have at least a feeling of preference. Without it, you can not make any decisions at all - even simple things like reserving a dentist or what to wear in the morning. Yes, this is the truth. I need emotions. Five studies have shown that we even need it to observe our visual cortex. The emotions we know seem to be communicators of meaning in the brain and mind.
From all these things, I think the time has come to go backwards. We need to integrate the old observation, the theory of recognition and analysis, and the discovery of neuroscience into a new framework. This theory needs to include the body, the brain, and the mind. People can not be separated from different people, and each person has been proven to play a different role from those pointed out by traditional wisdom.
It is time to recognize too many theories and ideas and try to summarize at least all the insights. Doing so will surely reduce the risks of every aspect of your life.
When I read recently, Daniel Kahneman's book surprised me about the inner workings of human thought. This is not a simple reading, as it makes your thoughts work well in practice and testing and makes you better understand your mind. This book (with Thaler and Sunstein's Nudge) shows gradually how our decision works (good and bad) and how the two systems in the brain interact . This book is a must-read for a designer who wants to know more about the impact (and ability) of the design on the outcome of the decision.
Subconscious is very powerful. There is more than we have found in modern science. Indeed, we have just started a clear understanding of what we think about the brain, our thoughts, and their role in human consciousness. However, if you do not investigate the scale of things beyond what we understand, there is one obvious thing. The mind is very powerful. When you are dreaming, you will firmly grasp the idea of living in your consciousness and at the same time you will find a way to enter subconscious mind. Subconscious helps to handle up to 60,000 ideas per day, this is a huge number when you stop thinking about it. These ideas control every moment and action in your life.
When we stop thinking about it, our idea is the house where we live. Our idea determines how our lives work and they affect our emotions, energy, productivity and everything else. Having a peaceful heart means a peaceful life. That is why we established this nonprofit organization. This week I had to rely heavily on my spiritual toolbox to engage in my mind. I make my idea feel uneasy, anxious, and certainly not a place of peace. This is a good memory for me. I feel this feeling. I truly believe that peaceful life is practice.
