How Do Ethnic Boundries Affect Assimilation

Richard Aruba and victory are defeating the words "to reform the American mainstream: assimilation and contemporary immigrants." We understand that the way of assimilation is changing. In their writings, they reworked the old view of assimilation of "obvious defects". (6) One way for Alba and Kni to discuss assimilation is through argumentation of racial boundaries. The problem is as follows. What is the racial boundary? Also, how do they fit the assimilation argument? This is a question considered in the book.

Two theorists who discussed the meaning of assimilation in their work are Steven Steinberg 's book "Myth of the People" and Milton Gordon' s Book "Assimilation of American Life". It is inside. They discuss issues related to assimilation and how they affect the whole country. As described in Steinberg and Gordon's book, the novel entitled "Earth Speaker" by Chang-Rae Lee provides a concrete example of how the assimilation process affects others and immigrants themselves . In Steinberg 's "National Mythology" he discussed the question of national identity and assimilation with readers. This has been introduced and explained in the chapter entitled "Racial Culture Atrophy". He first talked about the concept of "crucible" and how to analyze it without a simple analysis. He cited John Heme as saying: "Allegations in a loud voice of pluralism in most cases betray the fear of assimilation" (Steinberg, 59)

In Steinberg and Gordon's work, assimilation has similarities and differences. Gordon talked about these "national conferences" including assimilation. In the chapter of Gordon entitled "The Nature of Assimilation", he got many different definitions from theorists and writers. In one article, Gordon defines the author anonymously in this chapter as "a process of integrating individuals representing different cultures or cross-cultures into homogeneous units." Here Gordon talks about assimilation, Steinberg Steinberg thinks that assimilation is not necessarily a positive aspect just because the assimilation can always lead to the loss of cultural identity.
