"Animals should be respected as human beings." It is widely believed that humans are superior to any other animals, primarily because the former has stronger intelligence. A prominent example of their wisdom and nobility is that pets are often specially trained to help their blind or hearing impaired. By contrast, because animals are evolving more slowly than humans, some claim that they do not have the same understanding about the world and represent potential enemies. If this is true, animals will dominate the world like a science fiction movie. I can not deny that humans are the most intellectual and complex creatures on Earth, but I am sure that animals deserve respect and gratitude. I believe that they are necessary in our lives as we are in their lives. In 2012, the world media reported 35,000 animals abuse cases. More importantly, there are many brutal videos on the internet where animals were abused or murdered. According to statistics, one out of five livestock is inadequate treatment. These facts raise the question "Do animals should receive the same respect as human beings?" Animals are not conscious animals, but they are biologically similar to us, they are our partners and should be regarded as human beings.

It may be easy to say how animals should be treated, but how do you ensure that animals are properly taken care of? Animal scientists can assess and guarantee the welfare of animals in several different ways, such as regulation, quality assurance programs and audits, and concentration. Both the federal government and the state government have laws to protect animals and ensure the welfare of animals.
