Therefore, the shortage of drinking water is a problem to be studied in detail and a solution to this problem has been developed. There are many reasons for the shortage of drinking water, but most of it is due to human activities. These activities include activities such as deforestation, contamination, water abuse, groundwater contamination that cause global warming. If future generations want to survive, it is important to develop a solution to this problem. This paper aims to analyze the shortage of drinking water resources and cause and solution of problems. Finally, I will summarize the issues discussed.

There are various human activities and tendencies which are the main cause of drinking water shortage. These activities destroy the environment, pollute the water source, or put pressure on the water resources, resulting in shortage of drinking water. Some of them are discussed below; environmental pollution is one of the main reasons for the shortage of drinking water. Pollution contaminates available water sources and risks water to human consumption. Contamination can also adversely affect the environment, adversely affect, and may drain water (Levy 62-67).
