American horror story: Coven is the third season of the FX horror collection TV series "American horror story". It premiered on October 9, 2013 and ended on 29th January 2014. The season was held in New Orleans in 2013 and followed the witches of Salem to survive. There are flashbacks in the 1830s, 1910s, 1960s, 1970s, 1990s. Just like its predecessor, Coven also received a high reputation and high praise, the premiere series gathered a series of 5.54 million viewers. This season we have 17 excellent Primetime Emmy nominations including excellent mini dramas and Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett, Francis Conroy and Kathy Bates Lange and Bates' five performance nominations won their respective performance divisions did.
