Hope and Fear in Dr. Faustus and Paradise Lost

Hope and fear are two strong emotions that affect Dr. Faustas and the protagonist of Paradise Lost. Although the characters in both stories each have hope, they are all tested, tempted, eventually being sinned by the devil. In this project, I would like to touch on the facts of knowledge of "Paradise Lost" and "Faust". The first thing I will cover is "lost paradise". This story was written by John Milton, about the events that occurred between Adam, Eve and Sayan. The second one is "Faust". This is a person who wants to learn all knowledge and all the data. It was written by Christopher Marlowe, and most of the two texts are facts of knowledge. Especially in "Faust", the theme seems to be solved under the fact of knowledge.

Realism can be seen in many works of the Renaissance. The two most popular literary works of this era are "Lost Paradise" and "Fausto Dr." In "Lost Paradise" realism can see that there are many facts about the Bible. This aspect can be regarded as a religious feature, but it can be regarded as realism. This fact is true as Adam and Eve express normal people because they are involved in eating apples, "forbidden fruit". As they did this, they sinned as everyone did in their lifetime. In Dr. Faustas, realism has been demonstrated by Dr. Farias himself. Dr. Faustas is a highly educated person, but he is not as smart as he thought. Just like many ordinary people in the Renaissance, he is still looking for more in life. Due to his imperfection, he reflected ordinary people.
