Import and export business The market for cosmetics and toiletries in Hong Kong in 2002 was estimated at $ 787 million. As domestic cosmetics and cosmetics are small, Hong Kong relies on products imported from China, Japan, the USA, France, Singapore, Malaysia and China. Taiwan industry officials are forecasting that import growth will continue in the coming years despite the economic slowdown in Hong Kong. The constant demand from tourists in mainland China will also boost the growth of imported cosmetics and cosmetics.

As both China and Hong Kong are members of the World Trade Organization, Hong Kong should be able to export to the mainland more easily. This means that domestic exports of Hong Kong will increase significantly. In order to promote entry into the Chinese market, more foreign companies sometimes put regional headquarters in Hong Kong. Hong Kong supports China's accession to the World Trade Organization, which shows that Hong Kong is a supporter of world trade.
