Honduras

Honduras New Zealand first appeared about 140 million years ago in the Mesozoic era. The land gradually eroded until about 80 million years ago, the ocean floor expanded, the Tasmanian sea was formed. However, as we now know, the land has not formed its shape until ten thousand years ago. The oldest rock in New Zealand is about 680 million years old. The Republic of Honduras is located in the north central part of Central America and has two coastlines, the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. Honduras is the second largest county in Central America. Honduras is about the same size as Tennessee, with many mountains, valley of river, narrow coastal plain, and fertile plateaus. Nicaragua is in eastern Honduras, Guatemala is in the west, El Salvador is in the south. Honduras obeys the government of the Republic of Constitution. In 1969, Honduras and El Salvador conducted a so - called football war. After President Honduras Oswaldo Lopez Alle Rano condemned the economic deterioration of Honduras against immigration from El Salvador, tension in the border led to a fight between the two countries. El Salvador played a match of three rounds of football knockout with Honduras before the World Cup qualifying, and the relationship reached a low point. As the tension increased, July 14, 1969, the Salvador army attacked the Honduras army. The National Organization of the United States entered into force on July 20 and negotiated a ceasefire agreement to evacuate the Salvador army in early August.
