Through over 35 years of objective and thorough scientific research, it has been shown that homosexuality itself is independent of mental disorders, emotional or social problems. Homosexuality was once considered psychotic due to prejudice of mental health experts and society. Previously, studies on homosexuals, lesbian and bisexual people included only studies on treatment, so the conclusion was biased. When researchers looked at the data of those who did not receive treatment, the idea that homosexuality is psychosis was not immediately true.
