Service learning is beyond service projects. From time to time, when completing a service project, students have not yet touched experience and I do not think their efforts are worth it. Service learning gives students the opportunity to better understand the purpose and value of their efforts. Students who completed the following five service learning steps will notice that their behavior affects. 5 Steps to Service Learning Step 1: Under the guidance of preparation, students identify problems that need to be addressed in schools and communities. Students list their questions and look up answers. Students need to have a clear understanding of why their project is important and how it will be useful for the community. Students need to define desired outcomes and goals, select projects to meet the true needs of schools and communities, and work with parents and community partners to discuss ways to fulfill these needs.

The teaching method is synonymous with service learning. Participating projects are projects that combine learning objectives and community services to enhance student growth and common interests.
