Homeless problems in the United States are dramatically rising. This is a problem that you can blow someone when you do not expect it the most. Therefore, you should consider this a major crisis that affects our society. I think that as an American, we should work together to create a solution to end the growing homeless epidemic. According to statistics, the poor are most likely to be homeless. From an economic point of view, they are at a higher risk of losing what they already have. In the past decade, the number of homeless families with children has increased significantly.

People who work in the homeless department often say "experienced homeless people" rather than homeless or homeless people. This is because for most people homeless is not life - long sentence but experience (usually short term). To "experience homelessness" is the first step to change the sense of homelessness and to recognize that person is facing the situation. The Federal Government is currently undergoing federal reform process. This will address federal and state / local government responsibilities for many issues including homelessness and residence. It requires the city to come up with a plan to end chronic homelessness. In this regard, if homeless people receive independent houses and receive appropriate social assistance, we believe that emergency homeless shelters are not necessary and I think that is a good result. But this is a controversial position

Housing First was launched by the intergovernmental committee on federal homelessness. Assuming that homeless people receive socially and economically sustainable housing right away, the city embarks on a plan to end the long-term homeless, assuming the need for emergency homeless shelters will decrease . Homeless people cite mental illness as the top three reasons for being homeless or becoming homeless. Since these diseases are usually closely related to the fourth cause - drug abuse - it is generally acknowledged that both issues should be addressed at the same time. There are many medical, spiritual and counseling services to fulfill these needs, but it is widely believed that this treatment is still ineffective if there is no reliable and stable housing support. Furthermore, without a universal medical plan, many people in need can not receive these services.
