Introduction In the United States, 5 million children are homeless. Five million children do not have adequate dwelling, nutrition, health care or education. When a child is homeless, it is more than a simple house without children. 1 Homeless affects the general happiness of children and the ability to prosper throughout the region between childhood and adulthood.
The vision of homeless children is one of the few organizations that focused on the needs of homeless children and their families in Massachusetts. We are recognized as a national leader of homeless education for children. Today, we offer quality early education, game opportunities, and family support services to more than 2,000 homeless children in Massachusetts every week.
