Home Is Where the Heart Is with Habitat for Humanity

If you were in the Niels district last December, you may have heard of the house near Niels's Fifth Avenue. This is not a Christmas singer to spread a fun holiday to the community, but many great people welcome the new home to the new home. The lucky Niles family Christmas came earlier as the habitat of mankind completed another person who thought that the ownership of the house was just a dream. Since its founding in 1976, Habitat has become the world's largest non-profit builder, helping over 4 million people build, repair and protect more than 800,000 homes.

Habitat for Humanity International is working on eradicating poor houses around the world. In addition to building a house, Habitat is also trying to make it unacceptable for under-standard housing and homeless in a social, political and religious spirit. Service learning is a great opportunity to provide information to young people and this information will determine how to think about social problems including sub-standard housing. Likewise, habitats can be combined with almost all fields such as mathematics, arts, social studies, English, science, shops, governments, family economics and so on. And the habitat is usually about architecture, and there are many other ways that students can contribute like advertising, financing, and homeowner aid.

In humans, family ideas almost completely replace habitat ideas. It is easy to understand the fact that the nest knowing it is not the same as her habitat, and her habitat is her real home. The nest is a temporary annual breeding ground and it is useful as long as there are young people raising them. However, we are such a generalist - I can live in so many places - when applied to humans, "habitat" is almost a metaphor. In other words, "My house is my habitat" is also truthful and unrealistic. However, our psychological habitat is shaped by the so-called magnetic nature of the family, aligned with everything around us. Maybe you may remember when you call home that you left home for a while like another house you are going home from a trip, you are at the house full of stuff. In a moment you can see your house as a stranger you may see it. But then the illusion will fade and your home will return home.
