Holocaust

When the Holocaust was 14 years old, I started working at a grocery store owned by the Jews. I was born in a rural Catholic family in the village near Przemysl. In June 1941 my mother was sent to Germany for forced labor and I was left to take care of my 6 year old sister. In the second year of 1942, the Jewish district was liquidated and 13 Jews helped escape the final assembly hiding in the attic of my house.
