"Hollywood and the United States" are spoken most this semester. As Medved does not have reasonable arguments or sources of information, in most cases, I do not seem to agree with this book. The only source he has in the book is basically people who have the same idea and view of the world. This book is primarily for me, purely as I read it it drives me crazy. I truly think that according to the previous page, this will be the book that I will like.
A part of my analysis from this "Hollywood and the United States" is "attack on religion". In this part of the book, Michael Medved discusses Hollywood's attitude towards religion, from acceptance to awkwardness. In the past 15 to 20 years he examined the information that was sent on movies, music and television and analyzed the influence of them. According to Medved, Hollywood generally depicts religion in an unfavorable way. In addition, Medved believes that Hollywood not only takes a hostile attitude towards religion but also literally paid compensation. They seem to be unable to challenge, as all of Medved's claims are well supported and documented. However, Hollywood, including movies, music and television, continues to ignore the obvious facts revealed by Medved.
It is clear that Hollywood's religious attacks are not decisive, Hollywood loses money, and established religions are declining publicly. Medved took a thorough job of assessing Hollywood's position for religion and more thoroughly defeated it. His argument against Hollywood's religious attack was endorsed by the fact that Hollywood refused to achieve it. It is unreasonable for Hollywood to continue to attack religion, especially when figures indicate that most people claim to have something to do with the religion given. It is reasonable for Hollywood to change its method only and "to take greater meaning of neutrality and balance to draw an organized belief ..." (90)
