History of Venice: Building the Enchanted City

Introduction: Venice is located in the Adriatic Sea Lagoon in the northeastern part of Italy, on 118 islands connected by a canal and connected by a bridge. This city has a portal deal between Greece and Turkey and it is one of the best tourist attractions in the world (Oxford University Press 2014). At the beginning of the fifth century after the collapse of the Roman Empire, Italy was vulnerable to Goss from the West and Hun from the east. In this era, several attacks were carried out by the invasion of the Alps from the north, driving the refugees from a surrounding town to a safer place.

Its unique location, charming history, elegant façade, and palace - and of course the iconic Grand Canal - Venice continue to attract tourists from all over the world. In early May, I returned to this magnificent city for just a few days. It was welcomed by warm and bright weather and many wonderful memories from past visits.

One of my favorite novels is actually William Shakespeare merchant of Venice of this ancient city. Venice is like a frozen town with exquisite beauty that can appeal to all visitors. One of the best activities in this beautiful city is to take a gondola cable car and enjoy a quiet environment along the Grand Canal. Another place I want to visit in this wonderful city is Fenice theater, famous for Italian opera music. Then I will take a walk on St. Mark's Square, the largest square in Venice. There are historical sites such as Doge's Palace, St. Mark's Basilica and St. Mark's Bell Tower. I heard that this is the best place to bring home with souvenirs such as carnival masks and baskets.

For just good reason, 30 million tourists are pouring into Venice every year. From St. Mark's Square to its legendary Grand Canal, Venice fascinates visitors with a fascinating gondola, a winding passageway and an ancient world landscape. There are many classic landmarks that you can remove from the list, such as St. Mark's Cathedral and Governor's Palace, but do not miss the treasure of this canal street. For an unforgettable sunset, visit Rialto Bridge, watch the show by Teatro Lafenice, and head to the sigh bridge.
