History of Vampirism

Stoke was also influenced by Romanian leader Vlad The Impaler and Shakespeare's actor Henry Irving. Contemporary vampire ancestors are found in cultures of ancient Greece, slabs, China, Russia. Only in the 18th century in Europe, we began to see a story very similar to modern vampires. Still, these ideas need a century before the world becomes popular.

The vampire belief has existed since the beginning of human history, and at the same time it appears in many different cultures. The concept of vampires in each culture is unique. For example, a type of Indian vampire eats the liver of a victim, but Japanese vampires dominate consumers (Bunson, p. 138). As many other legendary creatures disappear, vampires try to maintain an understanding of the human mind. Vampires allow us to explore the darker and more subtle aspects.
