History of The Domestication of Dogs: Are Dogs our Companions or Are We Their Companions?

They started in Eurasia. Indeed, they walked with us through an overpass to the USA (JA Leonard, 2002). That means they played an important role in influencing us and helping us settle in the new world. Now, we have a general understanding of the time when domestication begins, but the next question is why. Why would you want to turn wolves into our partners? Is not it chimpanzee or other primate? The answer lies in several different reasons. Even if we return to canis lupus, gray wolf (the origin of most modern dogs) our old friends have similar human qualities.

The relationship between humans and dogs goes back at least 15,000 years ago, making dogs the first domesticated animals. Meanwhile, the dog played many roles and did a lot of work for their colleagues. Dogs are all shapes and sizes, but from large and noble Great Dane to small and persistent Chihuahua, they are all species with a basic history. A dog is a member of a dog's family. Canines are part of a large organization called Carnivora, which also includes bears, cats and seals. Fossils showed us that Canidae was isolated from a common ancestor of carnivore purpose about 40 million years ago. Beginning approximately 15 million years ago, we can subdivide into three subgroups: foxes, wolves, and foxes and foxes eating canines of South America, such as crabs. This love story begins with a dog, a group of our oldest animals.
