History of the American Flag

The American flag has made considerable evolution and more changes may occur as Puerto Rico quickly becomes the official state. I guess we saw the same banner for over countless years, but it was quite different from the decades ago. For example, between 1777 and 1960, Congress passed a number of actions to change the flag design to consider national recognition (PBS). Let's jump into that history in the next paragraph.
