He was born by a professor of art named Jose Ruiz Blanco and his wife Maria Picasso Lopez. Thanks to his father's background, Picasso's talent was noticed soon and appreciated. Art teacher Don Jose moved Picasso and his family to LaCoruña and then moved to Barcelona. So he was a lecturer at Academy of Fine Arts (Encarta CD - ROM).
