History of Computers: Microsoft Windows

Computer History: Whenever Microsoft Windows opens my Dell computer, a screen showing Windows XP software pops up. My roommate opened her computer and said the same thing as most people are on the second floor. Today, this seems to be the trend of most computers. It does not matter what brand of hardware it is. But this is not always the case, Windows software is a fairly new technology that has evolved over the years, and has been evolving and changing ever.

The Windows operating system for the desktop PC (Windows operating system) is officially called Microsoft Windows and is actually a family of operating systems for personal computers. Windows dominates the field of personal computers and is estimated to run more than 90% on all personal computers (the rest of the computers running Linux and the Mac operating system). MS-DOS originally developed for Microsoft by IBM is a standard operating system for IBM compatible personal computers. Later versions are becoming increasingly complex as they combine the functions of the minicomputer's operating system.

When Microsoft released the first version of Windows, Microsoft had a major impact on the computer industry as its MS-DOS operating system was the standard for almost all IBM computers. However, when Microsoft was preparing to release Windows, several other companies joined the trend of the graphical user interface and became the best for the first time in Microsoft history. However, Microsoft has advantages that other software companies do not have. Many computer hardware companies have partnered with Microsoft to prevent IBM from monopolizing the computer market. When Microsoft announced the release of Windows, many computer hardware vendors promised to use Windows on their computers.

In 1998, the US Justice Department filed a lawsuit against the Antimonopoly Act against Microsoft. In a series of examples, the most shocking thing is the Microsoft Windows license policy. In other words, computer manufacturers preinstalled on any computer need to pay a license fee to each computer they pay, regardless of Windows. Whether pre-installed complaints first proved that Microsoft achieved monopoly power in the PC operating system market.
