The Renaissance was "a time of getting out of the dark" era. It is education, science, art, literature, music, and the revival of good people's lives of the general public.

Most of the Renaissance was a cultural movement called humanism. Humanism is a philosophy, and everyone should try to receive classical art, literature, and science education and research. It is seeking realism in art and human emotions. It also says that people can pursue comfort, richness and beauty.

The Renaissance began in Florence, Italy and spread to other Italian cities. Part of the reason it started in Italy was due to the history of Rome and the Roman Empire. Another reason it started in Italy is that Italy is very wealthy and the rich people are willing to spend money to support artists and geniuses.

The city state played an important role in the then rule of Italy. They are often dominated by a strong family. Some important city states include Florence, Milan, Venice and Ferrara

The term "Renaissance" refers to many fields of experts and talented people. The true genius of Renaissance is a good example. Leonardo da Vinci is a master painter, sculptor, scientist, inventor, architect, engineer, writer. Michelangelo is also an excellent painter, sculptor, architect.
