The history of the British Civil War was recorded after we studied many stories about the British Civil War and the trials and enforcement of Charles I. If that is not impossible, we find that a single 'best' story is complex. To compare the work done by each historian in explaining the importance of this conflict, the following criteria help to determine a satisfactory history.
