Frances Fuller Victor is a historian and historical novelist who later became the founder of the history of Oregon. She was already a famous writer when she arrived at Beaver. Victor, Portland, Oregon, recognized as the mother of the history of Oregon State, was said to be "the first Oregonian historian to attract regional and national attention." Francis Oleta Fuller was born in 1826. New York, Rome. Fuller moved to Worcester, Ohio in 1839, where Francis was educated at a girls' school. Frances and her older sister Mehta have started writing and publishing stories and poetry. Initially it appeared in local newspapers like Cleveland Herald and Sandusky Daily and later in the popular literary and art magazine New York Family Magazine.

Victoria born in New York was a pioneer of "Dime Novel" type long before arriving in Oregon. But when she learned about the Pacific Northwest through her knowledge of mountaineers and politician Joe Mik, Victor began to realize that the history of the area was not recorded properly. For that reason she began to study the history of Oregon seriously and won the interest of San Francisco historian Hubert Hau Bancroft who hired her after her husband's death and wrote a book about him on the Pacific coast. Volume 39 of the history series.

Evans contacted the Oregon historians to obtain information about his book. One of them was Jesse Applegate, which was an important person during the initial formation. However, Applegate introduced Francis Fullervik to Evans. I generally believe that we can escape from male writers and still fight, but I can not compare them with pen women. One of them, I was a victim of a helpless victim and surrendered as necessary
