Hip-Hop/Rap: Music Appreciation

Hip-hop / rap is one of the most developed genres of the day. From the early 1970's to today's popular culture, it has developed greatly. Unfortunately, it formed a bad reputation for drugs, violence, abuse and gang. When people relate hip hop to things, there is a negative image that will normally appear in the minds of people. Sadly, Hip-Hop / Rap has excellent artistic quality for them and tends to be overlooked. Behind these lyrics and beat there are real poetry and emotions, but I do not think that anyone can sit down and listen.

I am writing this article not to criticize hip-hop or rap music, but to make people aware of the way we can influence us, young people, and negative. By looking at hip-hop music videos and attracting drugs and sexual behavior, individuals may try to drink drugs or have multiple partners. Actually, the more people listen to hip-hop and rap music, the greater the impact on individuals.

Over time, hip hop music has been quoted. The purpose of this paper is to discuss hip hop culture, explain the cultural stereotypes associated with rap and hip hop, and explain that the intention of the original lyrics is the form of expression and art.
