High School Students Drop Outs

College students' dropout prevention programs have been implemented in the public school system, but more needs are needed to help students recognize the bad results of dropping out of school. According to a survey conducted by the New York City Education Department, "More than 20,000 students are withdrawing from high school every year". In addition, "Most of them are black and Hispanic, in 2006 another survey was conducted, about 19% of Hispanic students and 15% black students dropped out, only 8% of Asians had a conclusion And 9% of white people dropped out.

In order to reduce the high school students leaving school, administrators ignore or sacrifice important opportunities to improve student academic ability. Ohio states that some school districts are reducing or withdrawing funds for high school sports or in some cases requiring students to share the cost burden by paying entry fee. In addition to promoting academic performance, high school students also teach many life skills when participating in extracurricular activities. The significance of this research is to share information with administrators and providing school-sponsored sports will help reduce student's leave opportunities by improving academic performance. These courses do not stimulate discussion or creativity. Instead, students are forced to study standardized tests required by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology all day and night.
