In this cross-sectional study, our data showed a high hepatotoxicity prevalence rate of 21.65% (225). Of the 1039 HIV-infected patients, 2% (85 people) used NVP-based treatment plan, 38.8% (403 people) used EFV-based treatment plan, 26.18% (272 people) were PI- Treatment plan, and a treatment plan based on raltegravil using 8% (102); only 4% of them experienced severe hepatotoxicity (n = 25). This contrasts with previous findings as many previous studies performed so far reported high prevalence of severe hepatotoxicity.
There is little data to define 'high' and 'low' HIV prevalence rates and to explain how these definitions can help prioritize HIV / Caribbean regional services. Research in emergency medical hospitals with HIV prevalence> 1% in the early 1990's indicated that routine spontaneous HIV testing for all patients in a particular age is viable to identify most HIV- Indicating that it is a method. (71) This 1% prevalence can be used as a daily recommendation in other situations, or as a general guide for HIV counseling and testing.
Background of the invention India is the world's second largest burden of HIV / TB cases. It is estimated that the HIV infection rate of tuberculosis patients at this event is infected with 87,000 HIV positive tuberculosis every year, but the diagnosis is less than 50%. The mortality rate of HIV-TB co-infected patients is very high, with an estimated 12,000 deaths per year. Dealing with the burden of these two diseases was always a priority for national AIDS and tuberculosis projects. Description The Government of India has launched a single window service for HIV prevention, early detection, and timely management of ART centers. This initiative is coordinated by India's National AIDS Management Program and the revised State Administration Program. These comprehensive HIV-TB services are available at all 539 ART centers nationwide. CDC will provide technical support to initiate this initiative
