Helping others is the best teaching and learning experience

I have been very happy because my students and I have helped people in different places over the past four years. We went to rural areas and visited various poor families in northern Hubei over several hours. We also shared our time and experiences with children, young people, and adults at several churches, hospitals, schools, etc. Originally, in 2009, my students did not believe they could help others. But they started to help other people or at least visited homeless with the poor and decided to spend hours with them.

Fortunately, this is the beginning of such a wonderful experience! Now, we continue to help others. Over the years, we have visited over 2,000 people. We can not explain the wonderful and meaningful experiences of students and teachers by words over the years. It changed our lives forever

I am interested in mathematics education comes from the experience of helping others. I always liked to study mathematics, and I also realized that I like to help others learn mathematics, especially those who fight with them or those who do not like it . As a teacher, I will be able to make my wish come true; my students and I will study together and learn from each other. As a teacher, I feel it is important to maintain the present situation and deepen the understanding of mathematics and mathematics education. My study continues to be the experience and interaction of teachers and helps me become a better educator. I always think that I can use it to learn from what I am doing and to make it better.

One of the most powerful and difficult aspects of teaching is personalizing learning experiences to meet the needs and interests of various students.
