Stress is a general emotion or state that is experienced during difficult times or threatening times. However, this is not usually caused by children, it may be more harmful to their mental and emotional state. Children's high stress is harmful both physically and psychologically and may affect future actions and attitudes. When stress is high, children may lag behind academic environment and go to harmful social behavior. For some people, anxiety is simply a reaction to stress. Anxiety helps individuals cope with stress and tension. This is the way the body helps people deal with stress and cope. However, when anxiety becomes excessive and irrational, it is considered a disease. Anxiety usually occurs when it takes too long to feel needed, tense, or even difficult to fall asleep. "Anxiety is a warning system that becomes effective each time a person recognizes danger or threat" ("What is anxiety?").
