MissingSchool combines severe children with regular schools and responds to special learning and social needs through daily life.

Children who are severely ill or injured stay in their homes or hospitals, watching and dropping out of school. Some people miss weeks and some people miss months, even a few years. This is a nationwide report of serious problems that more than 60,000 Australian children have missed due to serious diseases and injuries. Miss Bernstein - Miss Bernstein is a young Jewish woman who came to Barberton elementary school to teach and Pisher learned there. She became a mentor at Peekay and helped him gain a scholarship from the famous private school in Johannesburg, Prince of Wales School. Her grandfather, Mr. Bornstein, became a Doc chess partner. When students are hospitalized for treatment, student patients face many challenges. Many patients may be absent from school months for several days, but others may miss the full year. The obvious challenge is how to help students. They will not be late for school as patients continue to receive education while receiving treatment.
