Heaven and Nirvana

Today, the words paradise and nirvana are often used interchangeably; this has brought some confusion about these concepts. The aim of this paper is to provide a foundation for understanding the concept of Christian paradise and Buddhist paradise. While defining important functions to distinguish the two concepts, identify similarities that may exist between them.
