Transition from the medical industry to the cloud is inevitable. Because of the attractive competition reality and patient needs mixed. Like major changes in business and technology, early promoters are often benefited. As consumers become more familiar with hi-tech, demand for information at their fingertips is getting stricter. From a healthcare perspective, shifts in cloud computing take precedence over traditional healthcare approaches. According to the survey, cloud computing is not only beneficial for the company, it is also beneficial to the environment.
There are many discussions over many years in many industries, especially established and more conservative industries such as finance, as to whether it is safe to move cloud workloads to the cloud. I do not think Specter / Meltdown will change this equation - cost benefit analysis is almost the same as before. There are two reasons for this. However, more importantly, using side-channel attacks between virtual machines is not much easier than some people. Again, to use these attacks you need to run on the same CPU as the target. VM scheduling in the cloud is arbitrary and unpredictable. Cloud service providers will not allow you to take a walk to their service desk and seek a simple collaborative agreement with key banks or other sensitive targets. Therefore, in order to use these attacks in the real world, it is necessary to always schedule, test, and unschedule the VM, desiring to landing on the same machine as the target luckily.
In this article we will outline six different migration strategies that you have implemented to migrate your application to the cloud. These strategies are based on the five Rs outlined by Gartner in 2011. This is the last part of the three series on migration. The first article in this series introduced the concept of large scale migration. This is called "migration" throughout the series, and the second article in this series explained the process of large-scale migration to the cloud. These posts are independent, but I think they are better combined.
