Approximately 450 people gathered to support this year 's health care hero. NJBIZ pays tribute to individuals and organizations that have a major impact on New Jersey's medical quality. In the award ceremony held on Tuesday, 19th June 2018, winners of each category announced live broadcasting.

BusinessWest plans to notify the recipients of the "Medical Heroes" award by July 31, 2018 and will be introduced at BusinessWest's September 3 edition and September HCN. The winner will be invited to the "Health Care Heroes" award scheduled to be held at the start gate of GreatHorse on Thursday 25th October. The target is persons responsible for developing new programs, treatments, programs, or services that can save the lives of companies, organizations, individuals, or groups, or improve the quality of life. This award can also be used for new technological innovation, to improve existing procedures, treatments, procedures or services.
A healthcare hero can be a doctor, nurse, full-time medical expert, researcher, administrator, first-aid worker, educator, or care giver who has exceeded the scope of his duties. Medical hero should show sincerity, honesty, humility, courage and devotion. Health care Heroes founded in 2009 as a remuneration program expanded in 2014 to provide compensation programs and community health improvement summits. Under the auspices of Concordance Healthcare Solutions, Healthcare Heroes fosters a healthy community, Mercy Health, ProMedica, Toledo Medical Center, and runs Gilmore Jasion Mahler, LTD, Northwestern Hospitals Commission, Hylant, Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP .
